The specialty

A foundation package, not a generic flatwork bid

Post-tension work needs the structural plans, slab geometry, tendon requirements and construction sequence to line up. A useful bid starts with the engineer-of-record drawings—not a square-foot estimate detached from the details.

MSA Concrete can review your proposed foundation scope for a multifamily project in Florida. The bid documents should identify who is responsible for design, inspections, stressing and other specialized work; those responsibilities are confirmed with the general contractor for each job rather than assumed here.

What to send for a useful bid discussion

  • Current structural and post-tension drawings, specifications and addenda.
  • Project address, building count, slab phases and anticipated start date.
  • Bid due date, schedule constraints and the scope you want included.
  • Any geotechnical or inspection requirements relevant to the foundation package.

Plans can be discussed by phone or emailed directly to bids@msaconcrete.com. This site does not accept drawing uploads.

Where to discuss a project

MSA is based in Tarpon Springs and reviews opportunities across Florida, including Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Marion and Polk counties. Availability and exact scope depend on the project documents and schedule; an out-of-state job requires separate licensing review.
